    OWNER/INSTRUCTOR

Who are the members of your family?
    Mark, Whitney (4), Luke (1)

When did you join Fit4Mom and why did you become an instructor?
I joined Fit4Mom in January 2020 when Whitney was 2 months old. I became an instructor in October 2021, and owner in August 2023!

How has Fit4Mom affected your life?
I don’t even know where to begin. I joined Fit4Mom right before the pandemic and was so grateful to make a few friends leading into one of the loneliest years of motherhood. Without that first class and group of mamas looking out for me, I don’t think I would have enjoyed Whitney’s first year of life nearly as much. Fast forward to August 2021, my husband was involved in an officer involved shooting and rushed to the hospital. While he and I spent a week in the hospital, this village came together with meal trains, on the spot child care, gifts for our family, and more. Battling the hardest thing in my life was exactly when my mamas came into our life to hold me up. I will never forget the generosity, compassion, and care that these mamas have.

What advice do you have for moms looking to try Fit4Mom?
What do you have to lose? You get to be active outside, meet women in your same life stage, meet friends for your children that may just become your best buddies, and be surrounded by women ready to lift you up and encourage you along this crazy journey of motherhood. The hardest part is showing up, but think of the example you will be setting for your child that mommy cares about her health, her community, and her child while you make that leap.

Who are the members of your family?
Husband Matt, daughter McKenna (8),son Hudson (5)

When did you join Fit4Mom and why did you become an instructor?
I joined in 2016… McKenna was 9 months old. I taught dance for years and missed the “coaching” aspect. When I was approached to instruct, I couldn’t say YES fast enough! I respected the instructors so much, and couldn’t wait to be part of this amazing group!

How has Fit4Mom affected your life?
LIFE CHANGING. Period!! McKenna was a colicky and difficult baby. I had no idea how much anxiety I was experiencing as a new mom. A friend suggested we go try FIT4MOM. To be honest, I was going more as a support for her, not knowing how much I needed this group. The women are supportive, non judgmental, welcoming, loving and all things a new mom needs! Since I’ve now been around for a while, I can share that I’ve met my best friends as an adult here. My kids have met amazing friends as well. Lifetime connections for sure!

What advice do you have for moms looking to try Fit4Mom?
Do it! Even if you are worried you’re not in shape. We will get you there! We will help make you strong in mind and body. We are here to love on you and your babes.

I never knew I would benefit so much from this group! The moms I have met, play groups I have participated in, the mom’s night outs I have thankfully been a part of and the body and optimal health I have always wanted…I wouldn’t trade this program for anything!

Who are the members of your family?
    Jon, Zac, Max

When did you join Fit4Mom and why did you become an instructor?
Joined Fit4Mom Anaheim’s Hills all the way back in mid 2018 after my first son Zac was a little over a year old. I got my teaching credential and started teaching Strides 360 in mid 2019 after taking a 360 class and LOVING the format. I had my second son Max in 2021 and joined Fit4Mom North OC by early 2023. I’m so happy I joined back in!

How has Fit4Mom affected your life?
In so many ways! When I first joined Fit4Mom Anaheim Hills in 2018 with my older son, we had just moved to that area and I felt very lonely staying at home with my son and working from home partime. As soon as I joined, I IMMEDIATELY found my mom tribe and still keep in touch with a lot of those moms today. I felt so at home and relieved knowing that a lot of the moms were going through the same struggles as me. I have always enjoyed exercising and being active and this not only fulfilled that but also provided a fun little play group for my son to socialize with. When the Strides 360 format came out, I was in love!! My background is also in exercise and sport science and this format was a perfect fit for me that I decided to become certified in mid 2019. I have fallen in love with group fitness ever since!

Fast forward 2020, we moved to Yorba Linda, not too far away but I was anxious to meet new moms in the middle of the pandemic. I knew and had heard about Fit4Mom North OC and after I had my second son in 2021, I knew I had to join back again. As soon as I heard they were looking for instructors, I knew I had to sign on again and bring the joy of teaching AND fun for my second son again.

I love ALL that our Fit4MOM mama community has to offer. I have met so many life long friends and so have my kids!

What advice do you have for moms looking to try Fit4Mom?
Just sign up for your free class and try it out. Don’t even think about it twice! Just come as you are. You are guaranteed to not only meet just one, but MANY mamas who are in the same stage of life as you and it feel so refreshing to not have to do it alone.
